Anna & Connor // The Signet Library

Anna and Connor’s wedding at the Signet Library last autumn was one of those days that reminds you why you love what you do. The Signet Library, right in the heart of Edinburgh, is a videographer’s dream. Its timeless elegance—soaring columns, golden accents, and soft natural light streaming through tall windows—makes every shot feel effortless. As the day unfolded, it was clear how much this space reflected the couple’s vision: refined, warm, and full of character. What made this wedding especially unique was its cross-the-pond nature. With family and friends traveling from both Scotland and the U.S., there was such an incredible energy in the room—joyful, heartfelt, and at times a little emotional. Capturing those small moments, like a quiet laugh between Anna and her maid of honor or Connor’s reaction when he saw Anna for the first time, felt so personal. It wasn’t just about the big gestures but the genuine connection between everyone there. The Signet Library itself brought a sense of occasion without feeling over the top. The Lower Library made for an intimate, atmospheric ceremony space, and later, the Upper Library transformed into a stunning reception area. The blend of historic charm and thoughtful modern touches in the design meant every moment looked like it belonged in a film. The light, the layout, and even the way sound carries in the space—it all just works. Being part of Anna and Connor’s day was a privilege, and filming at the Signet Library was a reminder of how powerful a venue can be in telling a couple’s story. It wasn’t just a beautiful setting; it felt like the perfect place for these two to celebrate their journey together, surrounded by the people who mean the most to them.
