Lisa and Jeremias’ wedding at Achnagairn Castle, just outside Inverness, was one of those summer days that had everything you could ask for — sunshine, laughter, and a brilliant group of people who made the whole day a joy to film.
It might have been a while ago now, but it still stands out as one of my favourite weddings from the season. Lisa and Jeremias couldn’t have been friendlier — both constantly smiling, full of warmth, and completely up for enjoying every part of the day. That relaxed, happy energy really comes through in their wedding highlights film, which you can watch below.
Achnagairn Castle – A Perfect Scottish Highlands Wedding Venue
This was my first time filming at Achnagairn Castle, and it didn’t disappoint. The venue is surrounded by classic Highland scenery — rolling hills, open skies, and beautiful architecture that feels both elegant and relaxed. The staff were brilliant too, making the day run smoothly for everyone involved.
If you’re planning your wedding in the Scottish Highlands, Achnagairn Castle is a fantastic choice. It’s the perfect mix of grandeur and comfort, and it photographs and films beautifully in every direction.
A Warm, Sunny Day Full of Fun and Great People
It really was a scorcher — in every sense. The weather was incredible, the speeches were heartfelt (and funny!), and the dance floor was packed from start to finish.
It was lovely to be reunited with Karo from @regenweibchen after her move up to Lochinver. We’ve worked together a few times over the years, and it’s always great to collaborate with someone who shares the same relaxed, creative approach.
