Lucy & Thomas // Mar Hall

Here is the highlights from the wedding of Lucy and Tom who were married at the Holy Trinity and All Saints Church in Coatbridge and then moving on to the very grand Mar Hall overlooking the River Clyde.

This was my second time at Mar Hall and it has quickly become a firm favourite - Lovely grounds, great staff and plenty of space to roam! Also great to have lots of sunshine this time round.

Lucy and Thomas are a very smiley, lovely couple - this makes my job so much easier! Also nice to have lots of Tom's French family at the wedding - giving it a continental feel!

As always great to work besides Robbie from Duke Photography...a very talented guy and a lot of fun.

Katie & Shaun // Dunglass Estate

Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Katie and Shaun who wed at the amazing Dunglass Estate in East Lothian.

The weather was very misty on the day of the wedding...not ideal for Kate and Shaun, although they didn't let this dampen their spirits but from my point of view it was great! The Church and the grounds looked really moody and atmospheric so plenty of cool stuff to shoot!

Katie and Shaun are a really fun couple so there was a lot of laughter and happy times throughout the day.

Also great to work next to photographer Marc Millar for the first time...and hopefully not the last!

Lucy & Andy // The Byre at Inchyra

Here is highlights from the wedding of Lucy and Andy who were married in September this year.

The couple were married at St John's Cathedral in Perth city centre before moving onto the Byre at Inchyra for fun, fun and more fun.

The weather, although a wee bit crisp, held out pretty well considering the time of year allowing myself and Brian and Paula from Crieff Photography to take the couple around the grounds, including the wonderful Walled Garden.

A really lovely couple and a great day had by all.

Sam & Craig // Hillhead Book Club

Here is the highlights from the wedding day of Sam and Craig who were married on a very hot and sunny day in Glasgow earlier in the summer.

You couldn't meet a lovelier couple than Sam and Craig and themselves and their friends and family made me feel very welcome throughout the day.

Sam and Craig decided to go for a first look before the ceremony at the Botanics in Glasgows West End, I love first looks and I think it helps the couple to relax a bit before the ceremony.

The ceremony and festivities took place at Hillhead Bookclub just off Byres Road, a really cool venue with loads of atmosphere.

I really enjoyed this wedding particularly working alongside brother and Sister photographers, Andrew and Cheryl Lynch who were working under the banner of Andrew Lynch photography....a really great pair to work with.

Kelsey & Euan // Myres Castle

Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Kelsey and Euan who were married at the wonderful St. Matthew's church right by the river in Perth on a glorious day back in August.

The couple then drove in a lovely vintage car to Myres Castle, with guests close behind them!

This was the first time thatI have been to Myres castle and it is already a firm favourite. Such a beautiful venue, lovely grounds and lots of space to roam!

Kelsey and Euan are such a great couple and the smiles and laughter throughout the day makes my job too easy!

Erin & Allan // The Caves

Here is the highlights from the wedding of Erin and Allan who were married in The Caves in the middle of Edinburgh’s Old Town.

The weather was not kind to this lovely couple as it pretty much rained all day. Meaning that the only shots that we got outside were of the groomsmen under the bridge in the Cowgate and a few shots of the couple next to the very cool Beetle car.

Although The Caves is a great venue it is also one of the darkest so I had my work cut out ….always nice to be kept on my toes!

The weather didn’t dampen anyones spirits though there was plenty of laughter and fun had by all…great to see such a nice bunch having a great day.

Also, great to work beside Robbie, the other half of Duke Photography…..great company and friendly chaps.
