Kristen & James @ The Ghillie Dhu
Here Is the highlights from the wedding of Kristen and James who were married at the wonderful @theghilliedhu back in sunny April.
The couple have recently had twin boys so it's fair to say that the limelight was shared somewhat!
It was great to get some amazing shots of the city from the @jonniewalkerexperience
It was always lovely to finish the day at the @angelsshareedin where this lovely couple first met
I had a lovely day with such a nice family and I think the fun and good times comes across in the film!

Kirsty & Stuart // Broxmouth Courtyard
Kirsty & Stuart were married at the stunning Broxmouth Courtyard, one of Scotland’s newest wedding venues!
“It is so special being able to watch the ceremony back and we love the way it captures all the little moments that you can’t see in a photo.”
Kirsty & Stuart were married at one of Scotland’s newest wedding venues, Broxmouth Courtyard, in 2022. Full of rustic charm, this stunning exclusive-use venue in Dunbar, East Lothian, was the perfect setting for a beautiful wedding.
Kirsty met Stuart on a night out and after 6 and a half years Stuart proposed on New Year’s Eve 2020, and although we were all in lockdown at the time, Kirsty said that spending that moment together, alone, was just how she imagined it would be.
Planning for the wedding Kirsty explained how they “went back and forward about a videographer and decided we didn’t really need one, but after speaking to our photographer a few weeks before the wedding we were already starting to regret our decision.”
“She convinced us that we needed one! She recommended Joe and put us in touch, we are so unbelievably glad that we got one! It is so special being able to watch the ceremony back and we love the way it captures all the little moments that you can’t see in a photo.”
“My favourite moment was walking down the aisle. We also both loved just standing back and taking it all in during the reception, it was so lovely to have all our loved ones together and to have everyone there for us made us very grateful.” ~ Kirsty
Kirsty’s Advice
“I would say just enjoy it, try not to get stressed over little things you can’t control or things that don’t go exactly how you envisioned. Trust your suppliers to do what they do best and take their advice.”
