Here is the higlights from the wedding day of George and Renāte who had a very special wedding day back in July. The ceremony and the celibrations took place at the home of Georges' parents in the Grange area of Edinburgh. I can honestly say that George nd Renāte are one of the lovliest couples I have ever worked with. Such fun and very welcoming making the day go with no stress at all! Due to the fact that the wedding was all on the grounds of the family home it gave us time to take the couple up to Blackford Hill for the couples shoot- a popular spot for a family walk. I had so much fun filming the day as there was a great Jazz band, great Ceilidh and silent disco to top of the end of an amazing and original wedding.
Here is the highlights from the wedding of Rorie and Ingrid form their wedding back in July at the amazing Dunglass Estate in East Lothian. Dunglass is one of my favourite venues in that part of the world, very atmospheric and if you have the right weather there is a lot of space to get the shots! Ingrid and Rorie are a great couple and very easy to film. Nice to work along side photographers Ingeborg and Suzie for the first (but hopefully not the last) time.
Here is the highlights from the wedding of Lucy and Tom who were married at the Holy Trinity and All Saints Church in Coatbridge and then moving on to the very grand Marr Hall overlooking the River Clyde. This was my second time at Marr Hall and it has quickly become a firm favourite - Lovely grounds, great staff and plenty of space to roam! Also great to have lots of sunshine this time round. Lucy and Thomas are a very smiley, lovely couple - this makes my job so much easier! Also nice to have lots of Tom's French family at the wedding - giving it a continental feel! Here is the highlights from the wedding of Tom and Steph. No bridal prep filming this time so straight to the the Stair Arms hotel to film the boys getting organised....what better place than the pub?! The ceremony took place at the lovely little Crichton Collegiate Church just up the road. A great setting for such a lovely ceremony. Then finally on to Oxenfoord Castle, my first time there but hopefully no the last. Such a great venue.....so much space and feeling very authentic with it's antiques and original features. Tom and Steph were great fun on the day...never letting the blustery wind or the occasion overwhelm them. Plenty of smiles and loads of fun had by all culminating in a raucous Ceilidh at the end of the night....my cue to leave before it got too wild!
Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Katie and Shaun who wed at the amazing Dunglass Estate in East Lothian. The weather was very misty on the day of the wedding...not ideal for Kate and Shaun, although they didn't let this dampen their spirits but from my point of view it was great! The Church and the grounds looked really moody and atmospheric so plenty of cool stuff to shoot! Katie and Shaun are a really fun couple so there was a lot of laughter and happy times throughout the day. Also great to work next to photographer Marc Millar for the first time...and hopefully not the last!
Here is the wedding day highlights from the wedding day of Jen and Donal who were married back in March on one of the wettest, snowiest and grey days of the year! Luckily for me the newly weds are a hardy pair and were up for braving the elements for some dramatic shots down on the seafront and it was well worth the effort! This was my first time at the Cowshed and I love it! Such a cool venue...perfect for such a great couple!
Here is highlights from the wedding of Lucy and Andy who were married in September this year. The couple were married at St John's Cathedral in Perth city centre before moving onto the Byre at Inchyra for fun, fun and more fun. The weather, although a wee bit crisp, held out pretty well considering the time of year allowing myself and Brian and Paula from Crieff Photography to take the couple around the grounds, including the wonderful Walled Garden. Here is the highlights from the wedding of Emma and Michael who were married in October this year at the super-impressive St. Mary's Cathedral followed by celebrations at the wonderful Signet Library.....a regular haunt and firm favourite for Edinburgh Wedding Videos. Emma and Michael met in Edinburgh and returned to the city they love to tie the knot. Edinburgh didn't disappoint apart from being a bit grey and blustery! Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Becca & Dino who were wed at the spectacular Prestonfield House on a glorious sunny day in May. Despite the fact that the very noisy Peacocks tried take the limelight it was a great day basking in the sun on the superb grounds of the Hotel. Dino & Becca and their friends and family are a lovely bunch and smiles and laughter were everywhere, making my job much easier! Here is the highlights from the wedding day of Sam and Craig who were married on a very hot and sunny day in Glasgow earlier in the summer. You couldn't meet a lovelier couple than Sam and Craig and themselves and their friends and family made me feel very welcome throughout the day. Sam and Craig decided to go for a first look before the ceremony at the Botanics in Glasgows West End, I love first looks and I think it helps the couple to relax a bit before the ceremony. The ceremony and festivities took place at Hillhead Bookclub just off Byres Road, a really cool venue with loads of atmosphere. I really enjoyed this wedding particularly working alongside brother and Sister photographers, Andrew and Cheryl Lynch who were working under the banner of Andrew Lynch photography....a really great pair to work with. www.edinburghweddingvideos.co.uk
