Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Rebecca and Gary who were married on a glorious Autumn day back in September at the wonderful Cornhill Castle. It was my first time back there in a few years and they have really spent lots of money on it as a wedding venue...It is great! The staff are SUPER friendly too. Rebecca and Gary are such a lovely couple and there was a lot of emotion and love on the day which is always nice to see! Also great to work besides Jasmine and Joey from Jasmine Skye Photography ...a lot of fun! A great day and a great family with an amazing future ahead of them! www.edinburghweddingvideos.co.uk Photographer: Jasmine Skye Photography Band: The Cartel Cake: 3D Cakes Kilts: McCalls of Edinburgh Make Up: Danni Burnside - Make Up And Beauty Hair: Signature Hair by Kirstie Flowers: Flowers By Lamb Celebrant:Laura Baird from Humanist Fellowship of Scotland
Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Sarah and Scott who had travelled back to Sarah's homeland from sunny Australia to get hitched. My day started at the Agnew family home on the top of Corstorphine Hil before moving onto the grand venue that is Dundas Castle. The weather was a bit Scottsh to say the least but we still managed to get out and about as well as making full advantage of the rain. One of the highlights of the day for me was looking at the trail of water left behind by Sarah's dress on the dancefloor after she braved the rain for photos. Also really nice to work beside Ryan and Lina from Ryan White Photography again...it had been a while! Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Rebecca and Dan who were married in the southside of Edinburgh at Greenbank Parish Church, Edinburgh before moving on to the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh....such a perfect venue when th sun is shining. No bridal prep filming for me this time but I was so happy with glorious light in the gardens that I got loads of great footage.....such a smiley photogenic couple so hard not to achieve! Also my first time working with the ladies at Photography 78 but hopefully not my last...they were so much fun and very friendly too. Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Jo & Stewart who were married at Portavadie, Loch Fyne back in September. My first time at the venue (and quite a trek from Edinburgh!) but I loved it....such a beautiful spot. The weather was kind if not a bit windy but this didn't put Jo and Stewart off braving the elements and getting on the rocks by the sea for the photo shoot. A great day and a lovely couple with very friendly friends and family. Also great to share the car with John Clark who kept me entertained for the journey! Here is the wedding day highlights from the wedding of Louise and Stephen. It was my first time back to the Dalmahoy in a while...a great venue! No bridal prep filming on this one but stayed around for an extra hour for some more dancing....always nice to see what happens when I have normally left! The weather was great, so much so that I got a bit carried away getting some low sun lens flare of Louise and Stephen on the golf course! A lovely couple at a great old favouirte venue!
Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Katie and Michael. After filming bridal prep at Katie's lovely family home in Gullane we moved on to the very quaint Yester Church in Gifford before travelling to the stunning Archerfied House at the waterfront. The weather wasn't the best but a great day was had by all and the seascape was suitably dramatic! Great to work with Carol-anne from Harper Scott photography for the second time in a matter of weeks!
Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Dawn and Alex who were married at the wonderful Carlowrie Castle earlier in the Summer. What a wedding! Cocktail bar, archery, photo booth, Alpaca's, a pipe band, magician to name a few of the activities! A great day and my first time at an amazing venue.
Here is the highlights film from the wedding of Laura and Eric - The coming together of a Spaniard and an American in Scotland. A great day in a wonderful venue with the bonus of getting up onto Arthur's Seat on a gorgeous summers day. Great to work besides the lovely Carole-Ann Scott from Harper Scott photography as well as the amazing Cat Duthie from Fin Flükra for the first...but hopefully not for the last time!
Here is the higlights from the wedding day of George and Renāte who had a very special wedding day back in July. The ceremony and the celibrations took place at the home of Georges' parents in the Grange area of Edinburgh. I can honestly say that George nd Renāte are one of the lovliest couples I have ever worked with. Such fun and very welcoming making the day go with no stress at all! Due to the fact that the wedding was all on the grounds of the family home it gave us time to take the couple up to Blackford Hill for the couples shoot- a popular spot for a family walk. I had so much fun filming the day as there was a great Jazz band, great Ceilidh and silent disco to top of the end of an amazing and original wedding.
Here is the highlights from the wedding of Rorie and Ingrid form their wedding back in July at the amazing Dunglass Estate in East Lothian. Dunglass is one of my favourite venues in that part of the world, very atmospheric and if you have the right weather there is a lot of space to get the shots! Ingrid and Rorie are a great couple and very easy to film. Nice to work along side photographers Ingeborg and Suzie for the first (but hopefully not the last) time.
