Celine & Daniel at the royal college of physicians, Edinburgh

Celine and Daniel’s wedding at the Royal College of Physicians in Edinburgh was a real privilege to film. The venue is one of the city’s most iconic spaces – elegant, historic, and full of character – and it couldn’t have been a better setting for their day. From start to finish, it was full of laughter, genuine moments, and a brilliant atmosphere.

What stood out most was how personal the day felt. Nothing was staged or forced – it was very much a reflection of who they are as a couple. You could see how much their family and friends mean to them, and those connections came across so clearly throughout the day.

One of my favourite little details came from a story about Celine’s childhood. On a family holiday, she was given prawns to eat but wasn’t keen – so instead of saying anything, she quietly put the prawn eyeballs into her purse to get rid of them. It’s a small, funny story, but it says a lot about her playful side, which was definitely still there on the wedding day.

Being able to capture those kinds of moments – from the ceremony to the dance floor – is exactly why I enjoy this work so much. It’s about more than just documenting a wedding; it’s about preserving the little details and the atmosphere that make each day unique.

Celine and Daniel, thank you again for trusting me with your story. It’s a wedding I’ll definitely remember.
